Hi people!
I'm Cara the new member of staff on this here bmth.net : )
So aside from saying hello, I have sort of got news for you. I went to see BMTH last night in Birmingham and they were amazing. There is a Live Journal blog at parasocks123 but if you don't have LJ I will post it here for you. Also, earlier today on twitter @bmthofficial asked if anyone wanted to join Matt's (drummer matt) world of war craft gang, so if you do I can get his username or what ever it is you have on world of war craft for you guys.
Heres the blog:
So as you all should know i saw BMTH last night.
Amazing!!!
So overly good- no joke.
You know when you have so much fun it overwhelms you a little?
Thats me right now still.
We met the band first at the Pulp shop in birmingham, oh my, amazing. I got a signed copy of the new album, gave matt kean some MnMs because im a nice person and made friends with these people in the queue. Sophie and Emily. Oli looked gorgeous as allways. I saw his ghost tattoo in the flesh!!
So then we went to the venue and queued for AGES. Like for an hourish. Not good.
We were on the guestlist so we got in pretty quick once we got there. For August Burns Red's set we were right at the back but some how got forward for ADTR's.
They were AWSOME IN THE HIGHEST! Oh my, so good. they played 3 of my fave songs but thats it, but they were still brilliant. Me and this girl i made friends with were screaming all the words, jumping up and down, just generally going mad. It was so much fun.
We then made our way even father forward, we were 3 rows back at the side- I could see EVERTHING it was one ace veiw let me tell ya'.
BMTH WERE SO FREAKING AWSOME YOU CANNOT EVEN UNDERSTAND! I dont even know what it is but their shows are always amazing. Everyone was dancing not pushing, it wasnt rowdy (until the end) and everyone was just enjoying themselves. they played all my fave songs off Suicide Season. Chelsea Smile was the opener and they closed with Football Season Is Over, adding some of the cut up things in it. At the end they said if you can do it, get on the stage, jump the barrier and come up. In short I fell over- so did beckie and many other people. Some one pulled my hair too. That was the least fun bit of the night, although it was quite funny to be honest. Only one thing truly ruined last night and that was beckie. She asked to come and I warned her that she wold hate and she was like 'i wanna come anyway'. So I said sure come along. She did not stop complaining all day about how bad it was going to be and how she wanted to go home and that she was going to listen her ipod at the venue. Then when BMTH came on and it got a bit rough I had to keep worring about her because she wouldnt push back and defend herself because its 'Bad Karma'. I mean get a grip will you. I coulndt really go for it because I had to worrie about her and that really annoyed me.
But all in all I had and AMAZING day and night. One of the best gigs I have been to asid from Leeds Festival. So thankyou to my lovely step mom who got us on the house guestlist. I dont have any photos :( my camera died but I have one of my signed album wich i shall post.
Cara :D
